I graduated from The University of Edinburgh in 2005 with a 2:1 in Latin Studies. From 2005 to 2011, I worked in local government and for two actuarial consultancies in the pensions industry. Sometime in 2010, I decided that teaching was for me, so I completed a CELTA qualification and began working at language colleges teaching English as a Foreign Language. I began teaching in secondary schools in 2012 and have been working in education ever since.
